ROTC/Property Control
Northern Arizona University constructed a Transportation Services and Garage Annex facility in 1973. The building housed an automotive repair program, Transportation Services, Property Control, and Facility Development. NAU later renamed it the Facility Development building. In 1997 Facility Development moved out and the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC), Army ROTC programs, and Surplus Property, moved into the building. Today, the ROTC/Property Control Building also houses the Department of Military Science.
ROTC students have frequently displayed their patriotism at the location, standing guard at half-mast flags and holding parades to honor fallen soldiers. The nearby Observation Intramural Fields are home to the NAU Quidditch team, the Narwhals.
