KNAU Building
KNAU moved to the existing Shuttle Services Bus Barn in 1998 from the Center for Creative Arts. That year, Northern Arizona University expanded the building to include upgraded broadcasting equipment and soundproofed studios. This building also houses transit buses for the Rapid Ride and Louie Line routes.
KNAU, which replaced KASC as the call letters for a student radio station in 1967, has been Flagstaff's National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate since 1983. Local news, weather, and announcements are broadcast from this building on two different stations. One station focuses on classical music and news, while the other covers news and talk. NPR programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered can be streamed online or heard across Northern Arizona using multiple FM frequencies.
