W.A. Franke College of Business
Northern Arizona University (NAU) opened the College of Business Administration building in 2006 as the new home for business classes and professional development. In spring 2007, Phoenix businessman William A. Franke donated $25 million for business student scholarships, faculty development, and curriculum advancement. This donation, the largest in NAU history, prompted the university to rename the building the W.A. Franke College of Business Administration. Business Week and The Princeton Review each ranked the college as one of the country's top business programs.
Franke is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold-certified and houses classrooms, study rooms, the Jazzman's Café, academic resources, administration offices, and the Babbitt Board Room, a meeting space featuring the original Babbitt board table and memorabilia honoring the Flagstaff business family.
