Student and Academic Services Building

Northern Arizona University constructed the Student Academic Services building to merge academic advising, the Admissions Department, the Registrar's Office, the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, and Student and Departmental Account Services. NAU President Rita Cheng officiated the groundbreaking ceremony in September 2014, and the four-story building attached to the San Francisco Parking Garage's west side opened in January 2016. It also houses the Lumberjack Mathematics Center, a 154-seat auditorium, and faculty offices. All campus tours now begin here, making it the first stop for many potential students and their families.

The lobby features an exhibit called "Fractured History" that uses tree rings from a reclaimed Ponderosa Pine from the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski Fire to show key events in NAU's history.
