Collecting the Colorado Plateau
Cline Library Special Collections and Archives contains materials related to the history and development of the Colorado Plateau. The geographic region includes portions of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming, numerous national parks, and the Navajo and Hopi Reservations, as well as the lands of other Native American groups around the Four Corners. The geographic and broad topical focus make the archives a different kind of record collection. Action and drama in the area unfolds within letters, diaries, photographs, films, maps, oral history interviews, and other documents collected by university archivists, the Arizona Historical Society/Northern Arizona Division, and the Hopi Tribe.

Federal Lands of the Colorado Plateau Region, 1987.
