This image looks northeast up main street Sedona. The new pedways and buildings fronts illustrate the large tourist economy of Sedona. The heavy traffic suggests the immense popularity of Downtown Sedona.
Jordan Road, Sedona, Arizona.
This image looks north along Jordan Road, just in front of the C-Mart parking lot in Sedona. The large rock formations allowed for an easy alignment.
Sedona Lodge, Sedona, Arizona.
This image was taken from the southwest side of the first round-a-bout, formerly the "Y", just south of Uptown Sedona. The alignment came form the background rock features, though some were obscured in the original photograph by the large Chevron sign.
King's Ransom Motor Hotel, Sedona, Arizona.
This image looks north across the interior quad of the King's Ransom Hotel. In order to repeat this image we needed access to the North balconies of the South line of rooms. I had to charm my way through he front desk ladies in order to get the permission and key room in order to get the proper vantage point. Low and behold we were two balconies over due to room reservations. After getting an averagely close panorama, I had to return the key and retrieve my license.
Overlooking Poco Diablo, Sedona, Arizona.
This image looks north, along Highway 179, just south of the Poco Diablo resort. In order to repeat this photography both Mike and I had to cross all lanes of traffic to the far edge of the road. The rephotography came out rather remarkably though. We celebrated our accomplishments with slushies.
