Newspaper Holdings
Every issue of the ARIZONA CHAMPION-COCONINO SUN newspaper of Flagstaff, Arizona for 1887-1894,
which could be located, has been indexed. At the present time, however, it is not
possible to acquire one complete microfilm run from any one
institution which includes all of the indexed newspaper issues.
From 1974-1976 the NAU Library spliced together issues from the different reels
to form the most complete run available on microfilm in one chronological
series. If a researcher wishes information from issues not on our
particular reels (available in the Current Periodicals and Microforms Unit), reproduction copies of articles may be obtained from the Arizona State Department of Library, Archives, and Public Records at the Research Library, 1700 West Washington, Phoenix, AZ 85007, 602-542-3701 or 1-800-228-4710, Reference Desk Email: rerefde@lib.az.us
If readers should happen to turn up other issues of this newspaper in their
