LIBERAL ARTS BUILDING
The Liberal Arts building, the largest classroom building on the A.S.C. campus at the time, opened in January of 1964 and was formally dedicated at a ceremony hosted by President Walkup on September 2, 1964. The three-story brick structure was designed by Lester Brown and constructed by the Parker Construction Company. The total cost of the building, including the architect fee, furnishings, and equipment, was $721,836.61. Today the Liberal Arts building is home to the Departments of History and English.
