HANLEY HALL 1912
Designed by architect Dan L. Hogan in the Bungalow architectural style, Hanley Hall was built as a dining hall in 1912. The building is named in honor of Mrs. Margaret Hanley, Director of Food Services at Northern Arizona Normal School beginning in 1912. Serving the school in this capacity for forty-one years, she was known to generations of students as "Mother" Hanley. In 1937 the dining hall was converted into a science and laboratory building as a Public Works Administration project in 1937. In 1951, the building was remodeled again to serve as a dormitory. Today, Hanley Hall is the men's honor hall.
