A. Taylor Hall

Designed by Millard and Creighton, Taylor Hall was built of fired red brick in 1905. Female students, paying a rent of $18 per month, occupied the dormitory until 1908 when a second residence hall (Bury Hall) was completed. Taylor Hall then became a men's residence, remaining so today. The school officially named the dormitory Taylor Hall in 1920 in honor of Almon Nicholas Taylor, Northern Arizona Normal School's first president.
