No commercial use fees are charged for use of items in student papers, projects, theses, or dissertations; in scholarly works addressed to limited audiences; in official publications of the University; or for exhibition by a museum. The Cline Library is pleased to support the missions of non-profit organizations. No commercial use fees are charged to those organizations able to prove not-for-profit status by providing suitable documentation such as federal tax-exempt certificates or letters of identification (e.g., 501 (c) 3 status). For-profit organizations, partnerships, private businesses, and individuals working for or with non-profit organizations may be eligible to receive non-profit exemption with suitable letters of identification.
The following use fees are charged for one-time, one-edition commercial use:

Items from a manuscript collection are treated as graphics for reproduction and commercial use fees (e.g., a digitally reproduced four-page letter would cost $60 at $15/page; using those images in a TV commercial would be $200/page).
Shipping: $15.00 per order or billed to an established FedEx account. International shipments will be priced accordingly.
The Emery Kolb Collection is owned by one of Mr. Kolb's descendants. Use fees are paid directly to the descendant. Commercial use of the collection is subject to his cashing of the check.
Use fee payment should be made at the time the Application for Permission to Publish/Produce is submitted. Prepayment by check, MasterCard or Visa is required prior to processing any order. Checks should be payable to NAU CLINE LIBRARY.
