A Vertical File is a miscellaneous collection of materials on specific subjects. These materials can be in a variety of formats, including newspaper articles, unpublished papers, reprints of articles, tourist brochures and flyers, and so forth.
The Cline Library Special Collections and Archives Department Vertical File Collection contains materials specifically on Northern Arizona/Colorado Plateau and generally on all of Arizona. Included in this collection are also materials on Northern Arizona University.
