The Special Collections and Archives Department at the Cline Library houses over 700,000 various photographs pertaining to the Colorado Plateau. The best way to get a feel for the scope of the collection, within the on-line environment, is to visit the Special Collections Image Database. Within the site, you may either browse the selection of presented items or conduct a keyword search to select photographs to view. The site is fully documented and contains MARC-formatted catalog records for each image. There are also complete instructions for taking full advantage of the database's features. The database contains over 5,000 images that represent a cross section of the department's photographic holdings.
