A unique manuscript left for Buzz Holmstrom, at Granite Park in the Grand Canyon,
by members of the Carnegie Cal Tech Grand Canyon expedition. After not being
selected as a boatman for the Cal-Tech trip, Holmstrom decided to run the Colorado
River by himself. Jack Stark obviously did the illustrations on the wooden sign, but it
is not known if he authored the entire object.
