Schedule Movies and Music
For many years the Cline Library has delivered movie content from its collections via the campus cable TV network. As a result of aging technology and costs to maintain the delivery infrastructure, the Cline Library discontinued delivery of films via the on-campus cable network on July 1, 2011. The cable channels have been moved back to TV Services and will be used for regular NPG cable channels, like Speed, Telemundo, and Turner Classic Movies. Films in the collection continue to be accessible for check-out or in-library use. On-demand services such as Netflix have shifted user preferences away from physical access enabling the library to move the collecting focus to digital content such as Films on Demand.
Thank you to all the students who have used the library cable channels service since it was first offered in 1996. It's been a great ride! For more information about this service change, please contact Media Services via an e-mail form or call 523-6820.
Schedule Cline Library media items (DVDs, CDs, etc.) for pick-up at the library, viewing/listening in a library screening room, delivery to a statewide location, or some other use. Choose an option:
- Chat with us about scheduling movies and music while the library is open (see our hours)
- E-mail us using a convenient form
- Use Request Materials to order media items from other libraries
