Promote Your Scholarly Profile

Cline Librarians recommend that NAU researchers consider setting up Researcher Identifiers and Researcher Profiles to increase the visibility of all of your research and ensure that your citation, download and other metrics are as complete as possible.

Researcher Identifiers

  • ResearcherID
NAU uses InCites to run reports on department and campus-wide research productivity. InCites uses ResearcherID to compile a complete list of your publications. To set up a ResearchID visit: www.researcherid.com. When setting up your account, use your NAU email address.

  • ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID)
ORCID (www.orcid.org) is a nonprofit organization whose unique researcher identifiers are interoperable with many different database systems. Once you've created a ResearcherID account, you can automatically export your account information and publication list to create an ORCID account.
